With so many issues critical to good urbanism being decided now in Austin and around Central Texas, it’s time to take CNU-CTX to the next level. Since forming to host the national Congress for The New Urbanism in 2008, our Central Texas chapter of CNU has become a valued, credible voice for quality urbanism in our region. Policy makers and others look to CNU-CTX for expertise and a thoughtful, principle-based perspective on how to effectively address growth issues.

CNU-CTX invites you to become a Sustaining Partner to help advance this important work and expand local programming, engagement, education and member services of our Chapter. As a Sustaining Partner, you will become known as an active supporter of quality urbanism. Not only will you enjoy the benefits of affiliation with the nation’s leading organization promoting walkable, mixed-use communities, you will be plugged in to a proactive and vibrant network that is transforming the old “pro-growth” vs. “anti-growth” conversation and reestablishing the positive relationship between the art of building and the making of community.

All entities that donate $1000 or more annually are offered recognition as a Sustaining Partner in the following ways:

• E-Newsletter.  Listed, with link to company website (e-mailed monthly to hundreds of subscribers)
  
• Café Urban. Recognition at each Café Urban, an after-work event presenting ideas, speakers and projects important for our region
  
• New Urbanism Luncheon. Recognition at annual event with keynote speaker, attracting up to 200 community leaders; listed in communication materials and signage.
  
• Special Events. Listed in communication materials and signage
• Website.  Listed with link to the Partner’s website

Connecting

CNU Central Texas Salon

A CNU tradition is the “salon” – a stimulating dialogue among smart, informed people who are open to lively debate and the exchange and critique of ideas. Sustaining Partners will be invited to a salon on a topic critical for Central Texas.

Small Group Forum with Elected Officials

Supporters may join us for periodic small-group forums with local elected officials and their staffs. Share your views on issues.

Event with New Urbanism Luncheon Speaker

Supporters are invited to special small-group event with the featured speaker.
