Sustainable Urbanism Takes Center Stage at Next Chapter Meeting

CNU Central Texas Chapter Meeting
Urbanism and Agriculture: The connection between growing local and distribution

Wednesday, February 15, 5-7 pm

Royal Blue Grocery, 609 Congress Avenue

Central Texas urbanists gather for information and conversation at the CNU Central Texas chapter meeting. Whether you're a CNU member or just a fan, you're welcome to hear the latest updates from the Programs, Membership and Outreach, and Policy Committees and the special presentation that forms the core of each month's agenda.

Drawing from the theme of the 2011 CNU Congress and past efforts of the CNU-CTX Chapter, this presentation will focus on the idea of "Growing Local - Austin." We will explore current policies in place that impact our ability to successfully foster agricultural urbanism, as well as how "seed to table" can be actively reinforced in urban environments. Discussion leaders and presenters to be announced.
